SOLD-Larry Smith Mississippi Derringer

Description

This is a 1/3 scale cased pair of Remington Elliott “Mississippi” derringers, made by master miniature maker Larry Smith.  Both measure 1 9/16″ long overall with 13/16″ long barrels.  Both have mother of pearl two piece grips. They are not engraved, and were originally finished in fire blue.  Both have the proper Remington barrel address hand engraved on top of the barrel and both are engraved “L.H. SMITH” on the bottom of the butt. They are numbered on the bottom of the barrel and frame 27 & 28. Complete with the original Larry Smith walnut hinged top casing with push button latch. The interior English fit and lined in a moss green velour.  Accessories include a cleaning rod and 10 solid brass miniature dummy .41 rimfire cartridges. The bottom of the casing stamped “-L.H.-, SMITH, R F -27 & 28, in three lines.
