Description
This is the Berloque miniature 2mm pinfire pistol from Austria – it is silver-plated brass, has a short barrel, and has a round butt with florial designed, embossed grips. This is an antique, produced in the 1930's and has a round trigger & hammer. The barrel has a very clear stamp of "329" on the right side and "(Haywood) Hy Hunter," the famous hollywood importer and gun shop owner who did marketing for Great Western Arms and presented John Wayne with an engraved blued pair with smooth ivory grips that Wayne used in The Shootist, on the left. This gun is very rare! This particular model is graded as "A" or great condition and can be fired. This gun has a nice finish, with just some minor pitting, tarnish and wear on the gun's body – mostly the left side. The trigger works well and the overall length (OAL) is 1 5/8". These minis are designed to fire ANY projectiles. Be cautious when loading and firing this gun with projectiles such as lead balls and caps.
Listed in "The Tiniest Guns" by Bob Urso Vol. 3 on page 14 as A3a.
