Description
SOLD
OAL 1 3/4" This is a Franz Pfannel with the early hunting theme with one side showing a wild boar, and the other a dog chasing a stag stamped on silver on the grips, this is a later model shown by the rounded trigger and hammer, and the AUSTRIA stamped sideways on the right side of the frame.
Marked: PAT for Patent on one side of the grip, and FP on the other this stands for Franz Pfannel, the father of the Berloque Pistols. This is the second most rare pinfire gun.
This one has very little rust where the nickel is coming off under the barrel and at other small places on the gun, this does not effect the function at all. This gun is in perfect working condition.
This is listed as A1b Boar Grips in "The Tiniest Guns" by Bob Urso. This gun dates back to about the 1890's.
