Nickel Xythos Pinfire FEMALE Flare Kit – NXFFK3-A

Description

This is the Xythos miniature 2mm pinfire pistols from Austria – it is nickel-plated and has a squared butt, gold round trigger, FEMALE threaded barrel, 9 ridge hammer, and black grips. This is a old styled antique, produced in the 1960s and are one of the later models, which has a round trigger & 9 ridge hammer. Also comes with a flare adapter, an extra cylinder, an extra retaining pin, a box with 30 blanks, and 10 multi-color flares (white, red, green, and yellow) in a rectangle plastic case. These Xythos guns with the female threaded barrels have larger barrels than the male threaded barrels. The flares fire up to 150 feet in the air and are very visible. These are brand new, never opened. This particular model is in "A" or GREAT condition (graded based on the overall working condition and aesthetics for the same style and age). This gun has a nice finish, with light scratches on the gun's body. Overall length (OAL) 1 5/8". Comes with everything you see here! These minis are designed to fire 2mm pinfire BLANKS, due to having a designed barrel.

These are great for when camping, boating, fishing, hunting, skiing & any outdoor sport where you may need a flare gun to save your life. These are also great for birthday parties, 4th of July, New Years eve, or maybe for a special anniversary you want to make special. This is one that we have on consignment for those that have to have one before they are no longer around. Remember, these have not been produced in almost 4 years now and are extremely rare. This one is in B (Good) condition, however we have refurbished it with new cylinders, blanks, and pins.

*IMPORTANT INFO ON XYTHOS REVOLVERS: These were made only to fire 2mm pinfire blanks (and some have attachable flares, which utilize blanks to launch). Xythos has two cylindars which must align for use. Regarding Xythos and the two types of live rounds: 1.) Lead Ball handmade-it is NOT safe and will not fit, so do NOT attempt! 2.) Flat/wadcutter live rounds will fit, but  they may not fire reliably and it is NOT recommended.
