USHS COLT 1860 ARMY "PRESIDENTIAL EDITION"

This is one of the "Presidential Edition" United States Historical Society 47% scale miniature Colt 1860 Army revolvers. Fully functional, but non-firing.  Beautifully hand engraved with charcoal blue and case colored finish. One-piece pre-ban ivory grips.  Complete with the original USHS glass topped and amazing mahogany wood casing with red felt lining and Colt logo etched into the right front corner of the glass. Factory roll marked barrel address, .44 Cal marked trigger guard, roll stamped cylinder with the Colt naval scene. Typical mint condition. Uberti made these miniatures for the USHS under license from Colt in the mid 80's. They were a limited edition of 1500, and this is a very special number 100.  Unlike all the other Uberti miniatures, which are still made today, these 1860 miniature Colt revolvers, have not been made in almost 20 years.
