XYTHOS-Revolver 2mm Pinfire Flare Kit-Plastic Case/Female T

Description

ORIGINAL AUSTRIAN XYTHOS GOLD-PLATED FEMALE REVOLVER & FLARE KIT-NEW OLD STOCK

This is a Xythos 2mm pinfire semi-automatic miniature revolver from Austria – it is gold-plated, female barrel, 5 ridge hammer, and black grips which comes in plastic case securely housing of all the individual parts. This is a later styled antique, produced in the late 1990s/early 2000s. This particular model is in "NOS" or NEW OLD STOCK condition (graded based on the overall working condition and aesthetics for the same style and age), meaning these flare kits have never been fired or used!. Overall length (OAL) is 1 5/8".

Kit Comes With:

•the original Xythos plastic formed case;

•an original Austrian Xythos Revolver 2mm Miniature “semi” 6-shot Gun w/female threading inside the barrel’s end;

•screw-“in” (female) flare adapter to accommodate 9mm flares;

•10 multi-color flares (Red, Green, Yellow, White-each kit can fluctuate in colors/counts).

•12 (twelve) 2mm Blanks come inside a small plastic tube, which give a massive bang on their own, but one is also required for each flare intending to fire, to provide “launch” power (1blank:1flare).  We do throw in a small gift of a miniature glass, stand-up, Ammo Bottle option as well.

XYTHOS REVOLVERS are designed to fire 2MM PINFIRE BLANKS or FLAT-TOP LIVE ROUNDS ONLY (do not attempt to fire any “ball-top” versions live rounds, or the cylinder will get likely stuck and it can cause an extremely dangerous situation, as well as damage to the Xythos itself).

Xythos revolvers are listed in "The Tiniest Guns" by Bob Urso, Vol. 3, pages 40-42 where you can find lots of good information on the history and types made. We've also included some Xythos history on the main category page.
